For all business transactions with our customers these General Terms and Conditions exclusively apply. Any alterations, supplements or amendments require our prior agreement.On our accepting your order you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions of Sale.
Orders will only be handled for persons of 18 years and older. We reserve the right to refer back to our customers in order to ensure this age limit.
Portugal-gourmet reserves the right to make changes to the information contained in the shop at any time and without notice.
Copyright in the shop provided by Portugal-gourmet are our property and all rights are reserved.
Delivery
Delivery will be made within 1-2 working days after receipt of payment.
The charges for packaging and shipping depend upon its weight and the delivery country.
Delivery is made under the reservation that we ourselves have been correctly and punctually supplied with the products, and we are not responsible for the unavailability of goods. In the event that products are unavailable for a considerable amount of time or database errors occur, we cannot conclude the transaction and reserve the right to withdraw from the Agreement. The customer will be promptly informed of this situation.
Standard deliveries, normal deliveries, are made by CTT (Post), or by truck if the weigh/ dimensions justify it.
For deliveries to rest of the world please ask us.
Taxation
The following information applies for non-professional buyers, without VAT number, which order for personal use.
In general non-professional buyers are allowed to purchase food, wine and cigarettes through Internet for personal use.
The customer is obliged to inform him/herself of the customs regulations in his own country and to advice of import limitations and special regulations concerning the import of goods containing tobacco and alcoholic beverages. We assume no responsibility for shipments that are not allowed to be imported into the country of the customer/recipient. Costs incurred for return delivery and customs storage etc. are for the account of the customer. The shipment will be delivered with the Portuguese Revenue Stamp (for goods containing tobacco and alcoholic beverages).
All the prices indicated in the web site are inclusive the Portuguese taxes.
Terms of Payment
Unless otherwise agreed, the costumer will pay for all goods in EUR in advance of receipt by bank transfer. The costumer shall be liable for all bank charges.
The risk as to loss or damage of the said products shall pass to the costumer upon delivery thereof.

Pricing
The price you see is what you pay - no additional Portuguese taxes will be levied. For shipments to locations outside of Portugal any taxes/customs duties applied by the relevant authorities will be the responsibility of the costumer.
Cancellations & Returns
Cancellation of orders should be made within 7 days of receipt of products, whereby a full refund of the cost of goods will be made on safe return of the undamaged goods to Portugal-gourmet. Products returned must be consigned (carriage paid) and accompanied by a packing note stating our invoice number. All returned products must be returned unused in the original packaging and in a saleable condition to:

Portugal-gourmet accepts no liability whatsoever for products returned to it in any other circumstances and such products that are returned will be sent at the costumers risk and expense and the costumer shall indemnify Portugal-gourmet in respect of any storage, carriage or any other charges paid or incurred in the return of such products.
Law and Jurisdiction
The law of Portugal shall apply and the Portuguese Courts shall have sole jurisdiction in respect of any claim or dispute in any way arising from the sale of products under these terms by Portugal-gourmet to any costumer in any part of the world.
These terms and conditions do not affect the statutory rights of consumers.

Portugal-gourmet.com assumes a commitment of privacy and security for the personal information of each customer.
The personal information is confidential and only used for processing of orders and possible promotion of products. 0ccasionally we will use the information to notify the existence of new products. If you don’t agree with this please send us an E-Mail.
The information that we own it´s only destined to give our clients better and more adequate service. The right to privacy is a concern of us, and therefore Portugal-gourmet.com can assure that will not sell, rent and do not exchange the collected information with third parties.
